This new edition to the Essentials product line is a sturdy, wire-bound handbook containing all of the skill sheets found in Essentials of Fire Fighting (5th Edition) manual. The skill sheets in the handbook provide more detail and are more heavily illustrated than those in the manuals. It is intended to serve as a supplemental quick reference for students as well as a valuable instructor resource tool. Instructors will find this handbook helpful in referencing particular skills while performing evolutions on the training ground. It is also helpful as a reference tool for test evaluators to ensure that the evolutions are being performed correctly. If there are any questions as to the appropriateness of a technique being used, the instructor can open the handbook to the correct skill sheet and review it with the student right there in the field. The sturdy design and wire binding allow it to lay flat on any object in the field.
