The study guide on CD-ROM included in the kit is an electronic version of the IFSTA printed study guide and consists of questions in a multiple-choice format, which is the format used for many civil service and certification exams. The program provides students immediate feedback on answers and also tracks the results of each session as a record of progress. Each time the student goes through the program, the questions are rearranged randomly so each session is different.
The clip art CD-ROM in the kit consists of the artwork and photographs used in the IFSTA manual - which is also a part of the Instructor Resource Kit. All images are in numerical order by chapter. The images on the CD-ROM are intended for on-screen use only (computer monitor or projection) and are at screen resolution (72 dpi). The artwork and photographs on the CD-ROM are suitable for insertion into PowerPoint® slide presentations. |
