This curriculum provides a complete set of training materials to prepare first responders for certification at the awareness and operational levels using the IFSTA Hazardous Materials for First Responders, 3rd Edition, as the primary text. It meets the awareness and operational portions of NFPA 472, 2002 and the Emergency Responder Guidelines prepared by the Office of Domestic Preparedness. Information unique to Canada is clearly identified.
