Through a joint partnership, CFPS and NFPA developed the highly regarded Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) certification program to offer professional recognition for individuals involved either directly or through significant association in all facets of fire protection, fire safety, and fire prevention.
CFPS certification provides two distinct opportunities for candidates. First, the process provides the individual with a period of self-assessment and self-improvement during the process of preparing for the examination and documenting professional experience.
