This study guide is a supplement to the fourth edition Essentials of Fire Fighting manual. The questions are designed to help students remember information and to make students think.
This guide has been separated into Firefighter I and Firefighter II sections to make the study process applicable to the various training entities that train to these levels. Most chapters contain material relevant to both Firefighter I and Firefighter II training.
The guide has a total of 2,037 questions. The Firefighter I section is broken down as follows: 614 multiple choice, 205 matching, 399 true/false, 258 identify, 7 case study, and 11 label. The Firefighter II section is broken down as follows: 184 multiple choice, 74 matching, 121 true/false, 79 identify, 13 list, and 11 label.
The answers, found in the back of the study guide, are listed by chapter and level. Each answer is referenced to the Essentials of Fire Fighting manual page on which the answer can be found.
