This DVD contains two sections: Patient Assessment and Communications.
All aspects of patient assessment from scene survey to the on-going assessment are presented as they are performed by experienced EMTs on actual patients. Real patient responses give students a feel for how assessments are performed in the field and how patients act and respond. In addition, this tape looks at responders on actual runs and addresses communication style, body positioning, tone of voice, and many other aspects of good communication. This tape also looks at radio reports, hand-off report at the emergency department, and communication between partners.
