Two years ago, he was awarded the John M. Eversole Lifetime Achievement Award by the International Association of Fire Chiefs – the highest award given by IAFC. He had previously been the recipient of the IAFC Hazardous Materials Committee’s Level A Award for his lifetime contributions to the hazardous materials training and education community.
